The NBA conducted its own independent test to determine the best rim for the best basketball players in the world, and this is it! This rim has been used in NBA arenas since the 1985-86 season! The positive lock holds the rim in solid playing position, and the anti-Whip nylon net and tie cord are included. The rim automatically returns to playing position when moved out of position. It has a powder coated paint finish. It has a 230 lbs. pressure setting, with two hole spacing available. The manufacturer ensures a 10 year limited warranty on the breakaway mechanism, and a 2 year limited warranty on other rim components! This rim was made specifically for a 42" x 72" Backboard, and it has hole spacing of 5" x 4 1/2".
